Feast of Friends 2: A Dinner Called Peace
Inspired by current events, Feast of Friends 2: A Dinner Called Peace will gather many of Las Vegas' greatest culinary talents to create a one-night-only meal.
Confirmed chefs include (alphabetically) Johnny Church, Royden Ellamar, Justin Kingsley Hall, Brian Howard, Hemant Kishore, Keris Kuwana, Michael Van Staten, Jamie Tran and Khai Vu.
For this night, we have asked the chefs--who hail from a variety of backgrounds--to create a dish from a culture that is not their own. We're crossing borders.
Several of Las Vegas' best barpeople will create cocktails to match the meal, including Lillian Hargrove, Kinson Lau, Gaston Martinez and Lilliana Santiago.
Because of their recent budget crisis, we have earmarked dinner proceeds to benefit The Shade Tree, a Las Vegas based shelter for women, children and pets that are victims of domestic abuse.
In order to maximize our contribution to The Shade Tree, we will also be holding a small live auction toward the end of the evening, with some very rare treats and opportunities available.
Surprise entertainment diversions are also planned.
Beverages will be provided with the gracious assistance of Gruppo Campari, Kimo Sabe mezcal, Winesellers Ltd. and others. Non-alcoholic beverages including Harney Teas will also be provided on request.
In order to make this dinner feasible at a very low price, the tickets are nonrefundable, but can be transferrable up to 24 hours before the event.
Please note, this will be an omnivore dinner.
Please notify the organizers of any allergies or intolerances at least 7 days in advance. Although we will make an effort to accommodate, this is by and large a set menu event.
